First thing that comes to mind when I thought of strengths and weaknesses.
Our strengths are unique little gifts. That something special about you that makes you ultimately you… makes you unique and stands out from the rest of your qualities. Your talents… your passions. It’s that thing you experience when you flow… your time-has-stopped moment when engaged in something you enjoy.
You are also not perfect. There are those things that you simply don’t enjoy. Like I’ll admit, I’m no guru where numbers are concerned and they certainly don’t make me tick. I have weaknesses.
I’m not sure if there’s some invisible rule that weaknesses are the most terrible things one can encounter because for some reason – we often spend too much time focusing on weaknesses. “If only I could be more like that” or “If only I was good at….”. “So from today, I’ll spend 1 hour every day working on …..”. Following a painful week or two of forcing yourself to do something you don’t really enjoy. So with all this focusing on what we’re not that great at, is born the Jack of all trades… master of none.
If only… if only we used that time to work on those things we’re actually passionate about. Our natural talents that stand out and didn’t require any effort it seems. We’d not only feel happy and great… engaged in what we naturally enjoy, but also become the master of our talents. Possibly without noticing.
We all have strengths and weaknesses and kindly excuse the cliché, but that’s exactly why no man is an island. If there was no such thing or concept as perfection…. would you still try that hard to be perfect?
Yes we should strive to live a balanced life which is why weaknesses are not to be ignored totally. Yet ignoring a strength in lieu of a weakness could be far more costly to that master in you.

A skill set called leadership: My personal perspective of the word.
“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”
John C. Maxwell quotes
People are born leaders, you can teach someone the skills of a leader but you cannot teach someone to be a leader. Leader are not necessary educated people, they are people with the skill to change other people to think the way that they think. Leaders don’t earn money for being leaders, but they earn respect from their followers. They are not necessary selected by someone to be leaders but they have the natural instinct to be in the front of everyone and lead. Not everyone can be a leader, some people are born followers and there’s nothing wrong with being a follower because leaders need followers who will support them. Leaders don’t have to make decision, but they facilitate decision process so that the desirable outcome can be reached. Leaders are people who see everyone’s success as their success, because if one part of the team is not putting its weight than the entire team will suffer.
“Rock Journalism - is people who can’t write interviewing people who can’t talk for people who can’t read” (Frank Zappa comment
What the hell is this? Never heard of Rock Journalism in my life and beside who is this Frank Zappa – don’t judge me if he is popular and if I am supposed to know who he is... It is very funny that I am in media and communications, yet I am not aware of this type of journalism. So, i will just take a stab at trying to explain what this really means, to me.
This is what I think Mr Frank Zappa was trying to tell us. Well, as I have already mentioned, I think that it is a type of journalism whereby the journalist in charge specifically writes on the music genre, rock. So this person would be profiling rock musician, giving an overview of the industry and keeping the relevant targeted public abreast on current affairs about their music preference. As we may all know, Music is an universal language where people all around the world would be able to understand the next ones feeling through the music that they play. With specific reference to Rock music, it is one of those genre where if performed, one can automatically pick up the emotion of the artist. It is a very emotional genre and artist of rock do not need to write, talk or read because the music says speaks for them.
Rock is such a big music industry, yet fan of this genre know most of the artist, including the older ones. As a journalist in this industry, you do not need to write pages and pages like other journalist would do to communicate the message, but rather, the pictures of the artist i.e. instruments, costumes, accessories and the make-up, just tells you all you need to know and the people who they communicate to usually already know it anyway.
Top 200 achievements count down
Hahahaha, you really think that I am going to bore you with 200 of my achievements?? Think again buddy. Writing up a list would be pointless and vein, because people have bigger achievements that others and to other the achievement we consider as big would be falling in 199 places for others. With this said however, I would like to say that God has put us on this earth for a different reason for each and every one of us. It is up to us to fulfil the challenges that he has put forth us and achieve the goals of our lives.
I know that I have come a long way to be where I am today, forget the qualifications, the fancy jobs, the expensive car and the wonderful apartment that we might have. All those should not define who you are or what you have achieved. I believe to be able to love, be loved is the ultimate achievement and everything else will follow. Peace!
What motivates me?
I wonder... As I was thinking about myself as a person, I really wanted to get in touch with what motivates me to keep going, to press through difficulties, to see the finish line…if there is one. The question is really an easy one for me to answer on some levels, but for the deeper issues, it’s not quite as simple.
· I know that I am a results-driven person…that’s easy to see; I always get moving with enthusiasm when the fruit of my labour reveals itself.
· I also love when someone else notices my effort. Verbal encouragement goes a long way to crank up action in my world.
· Knowing that I have support, physical, emotional, and spiritual.
· And let’s not forget about Purpose…it’s the reason, the purist form of motivation.

Write a list: 10 of the most unexpected consequences of being online...
1. A blast from the past: Getting an invite from that 1 person you would really not want to befriend e.g. you ex-boyfriend, one of those girls from your previous life whom you were so-called enemies with (why the hell does she want to be my facebook friend?)
2. Shockers: Getting bad news about a loved one on your wall (can they be really serious, nothing is taken seriously these days)
3. Hackers: Some hacking into your social network account and pretending as if they are you (the nerve)
4. Angry buddies: There are those times when you just do not want to be bothered by instant messages, no offense people, please do not be angry.
5. Wonderful technology: Someone uploads THAT ONE IMAGE of you that you would really not prefer it on a social network platform.
6. The corporate world: Getting an invite from your boss and colleague that you always refers to negatively in your status – obviously you do not mentioned their name, but if it were me I’d get it is me being referred to.
7. Internet Banking: Getting your password blocked in the middle of nowhere because you chose to accidently punch in the wrong password.
8. Ambiguity: Reading something differently to what the intention is.
9. Oops: Sending the incorrect message to the wrong person.
10. Master piece: Seeing a conversation your partner is having with an ex-gf!!
